The 15th anniversary of Dolomiti Superbike not only has a new stretch but also a new prize for the fastest ascent and a great many excited fans. Helm Cableways has sponsored the new uphill event and a fantastic prize for the fastest ascent which will be awarded close to Helm mountain restaurant at an elevation of 2,050 metres.
Of course, it is important that the bikers, their coaches and fans are well taken care of. That is why there will be a colourful culinary supporting programme at the Jaegerhütte alpine restaurant (after the turn-off to Waldruhe) and on the Helm plateau. Brass bands from Eastern Tyrol will start their show at 9.30 a.m. – just in time to put fans and bikers in the right mood for the event. The two restaurants will be open to spectators. In addition, there will be a refreshments stand for bikers at the Helm summit station. Every Dolomiti Superbike 2009 competitor has 2 vouchers for a ride up and down the Helm from Vierschach and Sexten at a special price of € 5.
